Prices in the Netherlands
The cost of living in the Netherlands is rather high, yet it is still cheaper than in many other European nations. While cities like The Hague and Rotterdam are less expensive than Amsterdam, all big Dutch cities are more expensive than smaller towns and suburbs. Regardless of where you reside, though, lodging is sure to be a significant price.
By European standards, transportation is relatively inexpensive, therefore commuting may be less expensive than living near to your workplace if you work in a city. Expat children can attend free public schools, but because lessons are taught in Dutch, many expat parents prefer to enroll their children in international schools, where tuition prices are lower.
