We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled Overhead Crane Operator to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for operating and maintaining overhead cranes to move heavy loads throughout our manufacturing facility.
Responsibilities:
- Operate overhead cranes to move heavy loads safely and efficiently
- Inspect equipment and perform regular maintenance tasks to ensure the proper functioning of the cranes
- Communicate with team members and supervisors to coordinate the movements of materials and ensure safety in the work environment
- Read and interpret work orders and blueprints to determine the proper use of cranes
- Adhere to safety protocols and procedures at all times
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Some experience in industry
- Strong understanding of safety protocols and procedures
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and work orders
- Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends if necessary
