All About The Role

As our Senior Polish Language Manager, your main goal will be to improve the quality of Polish texts, to support departments across the company. Focusing on everything from transcreation to proofreading, stakeholder management and coaching sessions to quality checks, this is a varied role where you can cover a wide scope of language-oriented topics.

Working within the localisation team in our Global Studio, you will collaborate with stakeholders across the studio and the wider business – as well as liaising with our external localisation agency. By aligning with representatives from all areas, you can ensure the local brand voice is up to date, and that all our copy has that special Just Eat Takeaway.com flavour.

As part of this varied role, we're also counting on you to::

Transcreate high-profile marketing projects
Translate web and app product copy created by our UX writing team
Proofread, review and edit copy delivered by the external agency
Manage relationships internally and externally, and work with stakeholders to define the tone and style for the Polish language
Align with country-specific teams across the business on projects, products and campaigns
Maintain language-related documents such as the Polish brand voice, glossaries and style guides
Create source content from scratch, in both English and Polish for relevant local campaigns
Collect and analyse insights to drive quality improvement & perform audits to ensure our products deliver excellent quality
Mentor internal and external writers to ensure they have the tools to produce great Polish copy

Can you deliver…

Here's what we're looking for from our Senior Polish Language Manager:

5+ years of experience writing, reviewing and proofreading in both Polish and English
Strong affinity for UX and brand copywriting
Bachelor's Degree or higher
Native speaker of Polish and fluent proficiency in English
Broad experience with CAT tools and TMS
Experience working on global campaigns
Affinity for latest social media trends
Strong stakeholder management skills
Excellent communication skills and the ability to successfully manage internal & external relationships
Comfortable with working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with shifting priorities
